I visited Pattersons many times over the years and everyone was always welcoming and helpful. When I was finally ready... to order a custom dining set the entire process was easy and accommodating. Everything was completed on schedule and delivery was timely and professional. I compared similar dining sets at traditional furniture stores before finalizing my order with Pattersons and the price difference was negligible but, the quality of the Amish Furniture is substantially superior.read more

What a nice store. I've seen the signs on the highway for years, and finally got a chance to stop in and look around.... High quality furniture, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Lot's of framed pictures on the wall, lots of small stuff too. Worth stopping. My wife found exactly what she wanted, so we'll be returning when our house renovation is near complete.read more

After I began working remotely from home I needed a desk. I searched various furniture and department stores but... everything was of poor quality and/or unattractive. I’ve always enjoyed browsing at Patterson’s and have bought rugs, candles and other accessories. I remembered seeing all of the lovely handmade furniture and decided to go look for a desk. I ordered the style and color and anxiously awaited its arrival. The desk is beautiful and very well made. Couldn’t be more pleased! Hoping to replace some old furniture with Amish made from Patterson’s soon!! ❤️read more

We were looking for an Amish furniture store that sold an entertainment center that we saw in PA and finally came... across Patterson Amish Furniture in Morganton. The center is built by an Amish shop in Ohio and had to be ordered. Modifications were needed to accommodate our home theater components. Jason, the owner, was great to work with to detail the specs for the center for the build. The lead-time was in months, just like everything that was due to COVID. We finally took delivery of the center, and the workmanship is outstanding. The center was delivered by Caleb. He took exceptional care of the unit during the move into our home. He spent time reviewing the item with us and emphasized to contact the store if any problems. We are very pleased to have found this store and definitely will use again in the future. It was a pleasure from the sale to the delivery working with them. They are highly recommended by us.read more

GOOD old fashioned service (personal not robotic) still exists! We found Patterson’s billboard after leaving a much... larger Amish mall spot with mysteriously “busy” sales people (hardly any other shoppers were in there). Beautiful selection at Patterson’s and genuinely friendly and knowledgeable folks. Caleb took time to ask about our likes & then helped us select what the mall big shots acted like they couldn’t be bothered with. He even remembered us when he and a helper delivered our furniture months later. They efficiently and politely brought things to our home hours away and assembled it in a snap. We’ll shop there again and recommend this place to everyone we can.read more

At Patterson’s my husband and I found beautiful, sturdy, well-made chairs for our dining table. They are so comfortable... that no cushions are needed! Jason was helpful and patient as we deliberated on style and color. When the chairs were delivered, Caleb carefully unloaded and brought them inside. He has a friendly manner and he offered information about cleaning and caring for the chairs, even before I thought to ask about it. I would give them more stars if I could!read more

If you are seeking good furniture that is solidly built this is the place to go. Jason and Kasie are great folks to... work with and extremely helpful. Keep in mind you can have the furniture built in multiple wood types, in multiple stain colors, with lots of different hardware (drawer pull) choices. You can even customize the sizes and style of pieces to some extent. I had driven by this store many times and finally went in and was glad I did. Today my furniture was delivered and the color is nearly an exact match to a piece of existing furniture we were trying to match. The delivery team was great. Very helpful and easy to work with. Nice job all around. I would reccomend to a friend as well as return when I need furniture in another room.read more

After shopping ALL DAY at a mega furniture mall in Hickory, NC and not finding what we wanted we moseyed on over to... Morganton, NC, mainly to visit our favorite brewery (Catawba). We saw Pattersons Amish Furniture close by so we checked it out. It was just minutes until they closed but the amazing lady (Joyce) working there allowed us to come in stay past closing. We ended up buying 2 dressers, 2 nightstands and a custom wardrobe (actually ordered the wardrobe by email later) sending a photo of another brand that was of poor quality for them to replicate. After receiving the dressers and nightstands I can honestly say that this was the best money I ever spent. The quality is amazing. The soft close doors are wonderful. Every aspect was beyond our expectations. While the delivery guys were bringing in the furniture it took me some time to realize that the owner (who I hadn't met in person yet) was the delivery guy. A++ Business , A++ Quality , Totally Satisfied.read more

Great custom furniture options. Price are a premium, but you can order custom size, finish, options, etc. I am 6'7" and... looking forward to finding and ordering a recliner that is taller for me. Build time can be 4-6 months so plan ahead.They will also deliver up to 500 miles.Should be noted that some things like fabric mats are not Amish, made in India.read more

We are very happy with our new counter height table and chairs. We were able to customize it to our liking. We picked... out our wood, finish and fabrics. They were the only place who could give us everything we wanted. Patterson's was also the most reasonable.The quality is very good and Jason is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Definitely worth the trip from Raleigh area. Caleb who delivered the table and chairs was very careful with bringing the furniture in and made sure to protect our floor. He showed us how to work the butterfly leaf and made sure we were happy before leaving. He was very friendly. It took awhile to get but with covid everything is back logged. If you could rate 10 stars I would!Our family purchased a custom made Amish bed and mattress three years ago. We... absolutely LOVE it! Not only is it the best bed we have ever slept in, but it is an artisan piece that makes our room beautiful.We think so highly of Jason and his staff we recommended them to my parents. We went into the store on Monday and Jason’s wife gave them her undivided attention for over an hour. They picked out a bedroom suit they like and asked for a quote to be sent. Over the next two days Jason meticulously worked with them to insure the height of the bed and design would accommodate their needs. He recognized at their age they needed special accommodations and worked with them until the design was perfect. They deal was closed today and the fine Amish craftsmen in Ohio will be working on their project in the coming days. I have no doubt they will be as pleased with their bedroom suit as we are with ours.If you are looking for cheap furniture in a store with I knowledgeable and rude salespeople, then DO NOT go to Patterson’s Amish Furniture. Jason only sells fine furniture that will. OT only last your lifetime it will be treasured pieces your family will enjoy for generations to come. They are worth the drive to Morganton! I can promise you will get a lot of value for what you buy!read more

Quality furniture is packed into a shop in downtown Morganton. The sales staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and there to... answer questions. My one disappointment was the textiles, all of which were imported from India. As a handweaver, visiting a furniture store specializing in "made in America", I was extremely dismaid to witness this. Western NC has a number of excellent handweavers who produce quality work to complement the Amish furniture.read more

Patterson’s is a first class store with beautiful fine furniture and great people that are very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone was friendly and patient as we picked style, fabric, and wood colors. We purchased living room furnishings and love the choices that were available. We are very happy and satisfied with our purchase. Caleb, our delivery man, was great. He was like all the folks in the showroom, very polite and very conscientious. He was careful not to damage anything and he was also looking out for us to prevent damage on our hardwood floors.
